GRENADE!

Notes 1.

Grenade brief.

I am pretty excited to be thrown into this project and really want to get my teeth into some design work. I like research but I tend to overthink everything. With this being only a quick 1 week project I am going to try and not to overthink my ideas and just go with the flow.

What is good? Project Rationale

Project rationale.

Value. What are you worth?

Notes 1.

Notes 2 & 3.

  • Drucker argued that innovation is the tool of entrepreneurship and they demand creativity.
  • Mihaly says creativity is the ability to make or otherwise bring into existance something new. Creativity is the act of seeing things that everyone around us see whilst making connections that no one else makes.
  • Kotler - CCDVTP
  • Maslows heirarchy of needs puts self actualisation at the top and physiological at the bottom.

A value proposition
  1. overall aim
  2. specific aims
  3. objectives

Stuck

I am so stuck.

I got really excited about bread and money and now I don't know where to take it. I had a chat with Lorenzo and he suggested I research some more. I have tried researching different things about bread but it keeps coming back to money! ARGH!

I hate open briefs!

Where do I start?

I have so much to research before I can begin to decide upon what I want to do with this project. I know that I want to do something innovative and really want to find out something which people are unaware of in bread as this would be interesting. From the seminars over the past few weeks I have a few starting points.

  • Categories
  • Ingredients
  • History
  • Geographic
  • Health
  • Pantone
  • Size

I must remember that this is not about research, but research will guide me to my design. Why am I looking into somethings and where am I going with it?
